Our Story

Built on a Deep Respect for the Material

Teaks World was founded on a single conviction — that the finest outdoor furniture begins with the finest teak, sourced with intention and crafted without compromise.

Who We Are

A Specialist in Hospitality Teak

Teaks World was established to serve a specific need: hospitality environments that demand outdoor furniture of genuine quality — furniture that performs under constant use, survives pool chemicals and salt air, and still looks beautiful years into service.

We work exclusively with Grade A teak — the highest classification, cut from the heartwood of mature trees, dense with the natural oils that give teak its legendary resistance to moisture, insects, and weathering.

Our clients include hotels, resorts, boutique properties, and pool operators across the region. Every project, large or small, receives the same attention to material quality and craftsmanship.

What We Stand For

Our Standards, Without Exception

01

Grade A Teak Only

We source exclusively from Grade A heartwood — the densest, most oil-rich cut of the tree. It is the only grade we consider suitable for hospitality use.

02

Sustainable Sourcing

All our teak is sourced from certified, sustainably managed plantations. We believe the finest material and responsible sourcing are not in conflict — they are the same standard.

03

Crafted to Last

Our furniture is built using traditional joinery techniques — mortise and tenon, dowel, and stainless steel hardware. No shortcuts that compromise longevity.

04

Hospitality Proven

Every piece is designed with the demands of hospitality in mind — stackable where needed, resistant to pool chemicals, and sized for the realities of hotel and resort environments.

Responsible Sourcing

Teak Chosen with Care

Teak has been prized for centuries — by shipbuilders, architects, and furniture makers — for its extraordinary combination of beauty and durability. But not all teak is equal.

We source exclusively from certified sustainable plantations, where teak is grown under managed conditions and harvested at full maturity. This produces the dense, oil-rich heartwood that defines Grade A quality.

Sustainable sourcing is not a marketing position for us — it is a quality standard. Plantation-grown teak, harvested at the right time, simply produces better furniture.

Craftsmanship

Made the Way Teak Furniture Should Be Made

Our craftsmen work with the grain, not against it. Each piece is assembled using traditional mortise and tenon joinery — the same method used in fine furniture for centuries — reinforced with marine-grade stainless steel hardware.

Surfaces are finished with a natural teak oil that enhances the wood's warmth and provides an initial layer of protection. Over time, teak left outdoors develops a distinguished silver-grey patina — a sign of quality, not neglect.
